Greater Perks

Giving local businesses marketing services, promotional exposure, and a source of incentivized customers through a FREE perk card program

Boost your business by rewarding local residents and visitors, while increasing your online visibility

Greater Wave has developed an efficient and effective system for businesses to stand out in their local markets. Our Greater Perks brand operates a portfolio of local-level cardholder membership programs that connect small businesses with community members in their areas.

In other words, our Greater Perks is a collection of local-level programs that sell "perk cards" to community members in each of the represented markets (Grand Rapids, Chicago, Ohio, etc.).

Once a community member becomes are cardholder, they are able to utilize select "perks" (discounts, deals, etc.) from the local businesses enrolled as partners in the program.

How it Works - For Businesses

Become a partner

Businesses can enroll for FREE in their local Greater Perks program. Enrollment includes a featured perk on the program's perk card and a package of free promotions on the program's local digital asset outlet.

Choose a perk

Businesses then offer a special deal or discount "perk" for cardholders to utilize when visiting them. Businesses have total control over what their perk is and how it's redeemed by cardholders.

Receive promotions

All enrolled business partners get a handful of promotions to showcase their business and its perk. Our team will plan, design, and post these with little-to-no additional time/effort needed from the business.

Incentivize customers

Our team dedicates time and resources to the marketing and sales of these local perk cards. As the number of cardholders grows, so does the number of community members incentivized to be a customer of yours.

How it Works - For Community Members

Purchase a perks card

When a Greater Perks program is launched in a certain market, area residents and visitors can then purchase a perk card to start receiving perks from the enrolled local businesses.

Receive card in the mail

These community members can purchase cards online at greaterperks.com. Once purchased, they will be shipped out to them with a 1-year activation period for usage.

Monitor perk directory

Each perk card has its own online perk directory that warehouses all of the card's active perks. It has filtering and search features so cardholders can easily discover the local businesses they're looking for.

show card
& get perks

Community members can keep their perks card ready to use in a wallet, purse, or car. Then, when visiting small businesses enrolled in their local Greater Perks program, they can show it to receive its exclusive perk.

Check out greaterperks.com for a live look at how community members can purchase cards, browse the perk directory, and discover your business.

Greater Perks FAQ

Here are some common questions. Reach out to us if you have others.

?

Can people lie about having a perk card? Do they need to physically show it?

We inform cardholders that the physical card must be presented in-person when utilizing your business's perk. We highly suggest ensuring your staff is sure to check for the physical card AND the card's expiration date (cards are only good for 1 year after purchase). If your business chooses, you may honor your perk for online/phone sales as well, but that's up to you.

?

Can my business limit the usage of the a perk card by customers?

Definitely. Each business may create its own parameters for which its cardholder perk may be utilized. For example, a business may add stipulations such as its perk may not be combined with other offers, that it only qualifies for certain purchase amounts, or that it's only available during certain days of the week.

?

Does the sale of perk card to community members impact my business or our partnership?

No, perk card sales to community members do not impact our business partners. Businesses enrolled in a Greater Perks program receive their benefits and promotional package, for free, regardless of card sales.

?

What if cardholders use the perk too much?

For a Greater Perks partnership to be successful, businesses will want to make sure that perk utilization still allows for profitability. For example, offering a 10% discount as a perk could be great because it incentivizes loyalty, yet still allows the business to make money on the transaction. Tons of perk utilization should make a business money, not lose it money. So, "overutilization" shouldn't be an issue. However, if it is, we can always change it mid-partnership.
