Social Media is such an important aspect of business and branding in today's world, but it's often not prioritized due to the lack of direct measurable ROI. When it comes to the time, labor, and resources invested into it, social media can become a burden if it's not operated correctly.
Greater Wave offers an affordable solution to have your social media presence be a valuable asset to your business.
How it Works - Step 1
determine a social media goal
Lead generation
Best for businesses trying to source customer leads and/or sell products/services through their social media accounts.
Audience building
Best for businesses trying to build up a loyal following of interested users and potential customers to become part of their community.
brand establishing
Best for businesses trying to use social media to showcase their products, services, and people to establish a respected brand image.
information sharing
Best for businesses that want to use social media as an outlet for business-related news and information.
How it Works - Step 2
consider the social media platform(s)
Best for reaching a Millennial (ages 25-35) user base. Essential for showcasing your business, sharing information, and establishing brand idenity.
TIktok
Best for reaching a Gen Z (ages 18-25) user base. The most expensive platform to manage and generate content on.
Best for reaching a Gen X and Baby Boomer (ages 40-65) user base. Least expensive to generate content for.
mixed
Best for reaching a more diverse age range of users and getting the benefits of several platforms.
How it Works - Step 3
consider the management duties
Frequency
How often do you want content to be put out on your social platforms? Daily? Weekly?
Content
Will the content posted be provided by the business? Or will Greater Wave be responsible for creating/sourcing content to post?
Engagement
How much engagement (interacting with users/followers) needs to be done? This includes commenting, liking, and messaging with other users and those in your industry.
Strategy
How robust will your business's social media strategy be? Will there be many collaborations, campaigns, and events that require additional time and attention?
Case Study
Social Media Management
Grand Rapids, MI
Need? In 2012, Grand Rapids, MI was launched as a privately funded community Instagram account that would showcase the city's unique views, news and business. After 8 years of sub-par operation, the owner was ready to invest in its growth, quality and optimization.

Plan? Greater Wave worked with the account owner to develop a long-term social media management plan for the account. We decided to completely re-brand the account and roll out a new, updated schedule of content. We also planned some creative campaigns to execute to specifically encourage growth and audience engagement.

Results? After only a year of management by Greater Wave, the account's following grew by an incredible 40%, plus average engagement and reach of posts increased by nearly 250%. The overall aesthetic and quality of the account have improved drastically and it is now a useful online community for the residents and visitors of Grand Rapids.
